Poetry- In this lesson, we will take a look at poetry and how to create rhythm and rhyme. We will take Ogden Nash’s ‘Adventures of Isabel’ as an example, exploring how he uses language to create an entertaining storyline, and likeable protagonist in Isabel. We will then create our own poetry, based on Nash’s example, about an adventure of a child and what creatures or obstacles they may come across.
