Does henry the v11 1 deserve his reputation and tyrant and why?
Some facts about henry:
Henry VIII became king when he was eighteen years old.
· Henry VIII wanted a son to be king when he died. Henry’s first wife, Catherine of Aragon, only had a daughter. Henry wanted to divorce her but the Pope didn’t allow it.
· Henry started the Church of England. He was head of the new Church and he could do what he liked. He divorced Catherine and married Anne Boleyn.

No I don’t think so partly yes and partly no lets us explore in why
Yes because he killed many people in act of saying treason he uprooted the whole catholic religion gust to get what he wanted a divorce henry thought his marriage with chatelaine of argon was invalid because marring your brothers widow was a no no at the time. Even then, Henry was only willing to go through the Pope for the divorce, until reformers like Anne Boleyn, Thomas Cromwell and Thomas Crammer, pushed him to go further.Henry was so desperate to marry Anne that he went along with it, and after Anne’s death tried to undo all the reformist measures, except the supremacy. The only reason he married so many times because he wanted a son.
