My favorite part of the story is when the boy is going to put the potion in the witches’soup and when the witches are turned into mice. I chose this part because it’s a dangerous but the best plan. The boy has no power, it’s impossible to defeat the witches with only grandma and Bruno. Without his plan, all the children in the world would be turned into mice .He has been very brave and he saved all the children in ENGLAND.

      4. A dog’s poop

Recipie: put all the ingredients together, mix it well then leave in the fridge for a day, add 10 drops of vinigar and a pinch of salt before use.

ROALD DAHL makes the opening exiting by telling us about five children that met a witch. The first child was taken away, the second one was put in a picture ,the third  child was turned into a bird and the fourth was turned to stone. The last child turned into a porpoise.I felt scared but it was too interesting to stop reading the book . I would want to know what wiil happen.

My favorite part of the story is when the giants fell in the trap.  The giants deserve to be treated like that, because they were guzzling human beings every single day.  It is really funny that the giants have to eat snozzcumbers for the rest of there lives.

ROALD DAHL makes it exciting by first describing the witching hour, when Sophie looked out of the window she saw a giant being blowing a trumpet in someone’s ear. It makes the reader think what is the giant being doing, and what is happening next. We do not see giant everyday, it makes the reader curious and want to explore the story.

I think Roald Dahl makes the story exiting by using  amazing vocabulary and expressions. His ideas could be very funny,  for example in The Twits, the part that  Mr and Mrs Twits tricking each other in different ways, also the parts when 5 boys were stuck on the bough, they had to run without their pants. It made me laugh.

I like Danny’s dad, because he always smiles with his eyes and it means he never fake smile.  Danny’s mum passed aways when he was only 4 month old, and his father had to take care of him all alone, including changing his smelly nappies. Even though they lived in an old caravan,  they still have lots of fun together. Dad  even told danny his deep dark secret which was that he was a poacher. I think he is a great father.

      Complaining letter

I am writing because there is a sneaky little fox stealing my ducks and geese from my farm every day, and I can not take it any more. This nasty little thief must be shot to death.  I  have been working so hard to  feed the farm and keep it safe,  the filthy thing took it all for granted, there is no chance I am going to let this happen ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Mrs honey’s diary

Today  in class I saw a girl called Matilda, she was only five years old but she could multiply big numbers in her head. I was amazed of how well she knew her timestable for this young age. Not only being good at maths, Matilda also read intensively and fluently in the long sentence without pictures, I was suprised that she said her favoriate author was Charles Dickens. This little girl really impressed me, she was the smartest 5 year-old I have ever seen. I am  looking forward to explore a bit more about her, I am sure it will be fun.

Mr Hoppy was a shy man who had two loves in his life, one was flowers and the other one was his neighbour Mrs Silver, he kept the second love to himself. Mrs Silver is a middle-aged attractive woman who had a love, but it was not Mr Hoppy, it was a turtle named Alfie. Mrs Silver wanted Alfie to grow bigger. A great idea hit Mr Hoppy, he managed to find a way to makeMrs Silver his slave.

My favorite part of  the story is when George’s grandma drank the medicine and thought it was a cup of tea . The medicine made her smaller and smaller till she vanished in the thin air. I like this part of the story because it is funny and she deserved it, because she is moody and rude to George  all the time. Hope grandma will learn her lesson and appreciate how talented the grandson is.

George is a eight year old boy and he has to look after his grandma and give her medicine when his mum is not around.Grandma is a very demanding, mean, annoying and tiny old woman.  George makes a fake medicine and pours it in the real medicines bottle and gave it to his grandma. The first effect was that she felt like fire was in her body. The second effect was  she was flaoting . so the fnal effect was she grew tall and even taller than the building.
