Persuasive Writing– We will touch on persuasive writing in lesson two, so this week’s lesson will complement that, expanding on how to convince an audience of your own view, backing it up with compelling evidence. In this lesson, the focus will be mainly on speech writing, as this allows for you to include techniques such as alliteration that will make the writing pleasing to read and hear. The speech will be based on a hero of yours, and your job is to convince the audience to see your side and learn to admire this person too!
