For what age is this most suitable?

The 11+ is an examination administered to some students in UK in their last year of primary education, which governs admission to selective secondary schools.

The examination tests a student’s ability to solve problems using a test of verbal reasoning ,non-verbal reasoning, mathematics and English.Much of verbal reasoning test  will require a good grasp of a wide vocabulary.

Having said that, our vocabulary lists are designed for  year4 students(8-9 years old)and above in UK.

Children below year4 are welcome to join if they have a good grasp of the vocabulary otherwise the difficulty may frustrate them.

How it works?

All practices and jams will happen on www.vocabulary.com.

You need to login with your facebook/google account or create one.

1 We publish 30 words every Monday.

2 You practise them on www.vocabulary.com.

3 We send you jam code and you join the jam 6pm* every Saturday to compete with your peers from all over the world.

* As we may have people come from different countries so the final time will depend on how many people are available.

How long does the subscription last?

Forever.

We will publish 30 new words every week for one year.

After one year we will go through  the old vocabulary lists again from list 1 to list 52.

You can decide whether to unsubscribe after one year or stay with us and review the words.

How much time I have to spend on the practice and jam?

It normally takes 1 to 2 hours To go through all the 30 words on www.vocabulary.com  and jam normally takes 20 minutes.
