Fantastic work today, everyone! I really enjoyed your thoughts on a range of key scenes and moments within the novel, particularly the action-packed opening scene with the Vogons on Earth. Then I found that the UFO was there, so I asked, “what are we doing here?” the alien said, “let me show you the power of the black hole.” Then he started the ball. With a click, a hole the size of an ant appeared. For a moment, it became the size of the earth, and then exploded with a bang. -

Marvin is a robot that has human feelings from the Sirius robot company.he is a robot with depression.he always thought that he is a human. His round head has the capacity of a planet. He is extremely smart. At least he thinks he is smarter than his master. He felt that the vast universe had great potential, but his master always asked him to do simple things such as opening and closing the door. He despised it, but he could only pursue it correctly. It is likely that Marvin’s depression is due to his lack of talent. There is no doubt that this greatly aggravates its depression. Marvin even began to lose sleep, relying on hundreds of millions of sheep in a second to fall asleep.Some times,he try to tell more robot what is the world,but every time he finished,the robot will shut down.

Ms. Marnie the homework from the last class:
The paragraph:
The deadly missile attack shortly to be launched by an ancient automatic defence system will result merely in the breakage of three coffee cups and a mousecage, the bruising of somebody’s upper arm, and the untimely creation and sudden demise of a bowl of petunias and an innocent sperm whale.
My thought:
What makes this paragraph frightening is that it said that the deadly missile gave the reader a feeling that it is really going to be a problem because the author uses the word “deadly” which make the problem bigger, but what makes the reader’s feeling turn more funny is that the result here the author make the difference between the two of the character in the paragraph have bigger differences. What result does the reader have must be bigger than just the breakage of three coffee cups and a mouse cage because at first, the author uses the word deadly.

My homework:
Paragraph:
All around the world city streets exploded with people, cars skidded into each other as the noise fell on them and then rolled off like a tidal wave over hills and valleys, deserts and oceans , seeming to flatten everything it hit.
My thought:
What I think makes this paragraph frightening is that how sudden city streets exploded along with all those people that died and the funny thing is that the author seems to be saying all this in a particularly calm way. And also, the interesting part is the author is using a language that is amazing and what makes it more action-packed like how the noise fell on the cars that skidded into each other.
